Asharprodip Somaj Unnyan Songstha (ASUS) is a nonprofit, non-government and development organization established in 2016 with the initiative of social workers, teachers, doctors and church leaders of different denominations. Through its projects and programs, ASUS covers a wide range of people of all faiths irrespective of caste, creed and religion. It serves all people in need putting more emphasis on children, women, youth and the most vulnerable groups – landless, small land-holders, the indigenous, elderly and the people with disabilities. It has been working closely with the underprivileged rural poor communities for upgrading their social, educational, economic, health and environment. The organization has its especial concern on Women empowerment.
The Organization was registered from the Ministry of Social Welfare (Reg. No. 1637) and Department of Women Affairs (reg. no- Khulna/515; NGO Affairs Bureau Government of Bangladesh (Reg. no. 3318) and Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) (Reg. no-00431 )
